At Olympus Dog Training I use motivational coaching and fun to help dogs and owners reach their unique goals and adventure with confidence. From foundational obedience and manners, to behavior management and fitness, I'll meet you where you're at with personalized lesson plans and classes so your teamwork can shine. I use positive reinforcement behavior theory to guide my work in force-free training, building lifelong relationships of trust and confidence with our canine companions.
About Deb
Inspired by her giant Saint Bernard and first pet, Bear, Dog Trainer Deb West has been working with dogs professionally since 2018. Over the years she has spent training, she has found that the more fun clients are having, the better they learn and the easier the teams get along. She loves showing how engaging training can be and just how many paths there are to building strong relationships. Deb is an AKC approved evaluator, Fit Dog Instructor, Temperament Tester, IAABC Supporting Member, and Pet Professional Guild Member.
In her free time she loves to read, spend time outdoors, and train obedience with her own dog Bear. Together they won first place at the 2021 Saint Bernard National Convention in Novice Rally Obedience and they are working on novice titling in Rally, Obedience, and Scent Work.
